and profiling and present to you only relevant offers of goods and services in order for you not to get lost in
offers of products which you already have or which do not meet your needs.
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons
with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing
Directive 95/46/EC will enter into force on 25 May 2018, so it is necessary that you give us a new consent in
compliance with the new requirements.

- WHO IS THE ADMINISTRATOR/CONTROLLER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
The personal data administrator/controller is a company that defines the purpose and tools for personal data
processing. For marketing purposes, the administrator/controller of your personal data is:
- WHICH OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?
For marketing purposes, we process the following categories of your personal data that help us determine the
range of products and services you might like and satisfy your needs.
■ Basic identification data – name, residence, date of birth.
■ Contact details – telephone number, e-mail address.
■ Social and demographic data – statistical data about your age, gender, education, profession, the number of children.
■ Information about your use of products and services – what services you have had in the past, information
about your use of the online customer zone. Based on these data, we can recommend products and services
that are relevant for you.
■ Information from the records of our telephone calls or other interactions with you, for example through e-mail, chat, text messages.
■ Geolocation data – geolocation data from the web browser. These data can usually help us to recommend the nearest agent or branch.
- FROM WHAT SOURCES DO WE OBTAIN PERSONAL DATA?
We obtain the personal data specified in the previous clause directly from you. You provide us with these data
in the client agreement or in other documents.
Your personal data can also be obtained from publicly accessible sources, registers and records, for example
from the business register. Your personal data may also be obtained from third parties that are authorised to
handle them.
- FOR WHAT PURPOSES HAVE YOU GIVEN YOUR CONSENT?
You have provided your consent for marketing purposes including the following activities:
■ Offering products and services. With your consent, we can offer you our products and services by electronic
means; in particular via e-mails or messages delivered to mobile device through your telephone number,
through online client zone, in writing or in form of a telephone call;
■ Automated processing of personal data with the objective to adjust our business offer to your individual needs;
■ Market surveys and surveys of customer satisfaction with our products and services.
Consent given for marketing purposes is voluntary. However, it is essential for us to provide you with
individual offers of our products and services and those of our business partners. Without your consent, we
are not authorised to offer you our individual products and services.
- WHY DO WE DO PROFILING AND AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING?
Our company strives to provide you with custom-made offers of products and services. For this reason, your
personal data is profiled with your consent. To do so, we use automatic information systems, online
applications or calculators. Based on the outputs, we send you individualised messages and offers of our
company’s products and services.
Automated evaluating (profiling) of your personal data helps us to better know you and your needs and to
estimate your future actions and adjust our products and services accordingly.
- FOR HOW LONG WILL WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
You have given us your consent for the duration of our contracting relationship and for the additional period
of 10 years after the termination of such contracting relationship or until withdrawing you consent.
If you are not and will not become a client of our company, your consent will be effective for 10 years after
granting it or until you withdraw it.
After passing of the respective period of time, your personal data will be deleted except to the scope and for
the purposes for which your consent is not required according to legal regulations.
- WHO ARE OUR BUSINESS PARTNERS?
By granting your consent, you also agreed to receiving our product offers and with providing your personal
data to our chosen business partners. Our business partners comply with the same personal data protection
rules and we have concluded with them a personal data processing agreement.

- WHO CAN ACCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
In order to process your personal data for marketing purposes, your data may also be accessed by other
subjects that process personal data as so-called processors, whose role is to provide our company with certain
services. These can be, for example, external companies administering our systems of securing proper
operation of our company and processing of personal data for marketing purposes. We have concluded with
these processors personal data processing agreements, base on which they are also obliged to comply with
the strict personal data protection rules.
- WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS IN PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Proper processing of your personal data in Slovakia is important for our company and their protection is a
matter of course. In the processing of your personal data, you can claim the following rights:
Information about the processing of your personal data
The information includes, in particular: the identification and contact details of the administrator/controller,
deputy administrator/controller or responsible persons; the purpose of processing, the categories of personal
data, the recipient or categories of recipients of your personal data, the information about the transfer of your
personal data to third countries, the period of storing your personal data, authorised administrators, the list of
your rights, the possibility to contact the Office for Personal Data Protection, the source of processed personal
data, the information whether your personal data are subject to automated decision-making and profiling and
how it is performed.
Right to access to personal data
You have the right to the information whether or not your personal data are being processed, and if yes, you
have the access to the information about the processing, the categories of your personal data, the recipients
or categories of recipients, periods of storing your personal data, as well as the right to the information about
your rights, about your right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, the information
about the source of your personal data, the information whether your personal data are subject to automated
decision-making or profiling, information and guarantees in the event of a transfer of your personal data to a
third country or to an international organisation. You have the right to be provided with a copy of the
processed personal data.
Right to rectification
Are we processing your outdated or inaccurate personal data? Have you changed your residence, for
example? Please inform us and we will rectify your personal data.
Right to deletion (to be forgotten)
In some cases defined by the law, we are required to delete your personal data based on your request.
However, such request is subject to individual assessment as HAKO SK, s.r.o. is also required or has a
legitimate interest to keep your personal data.
Right to restriction of processing
If you wish your personal data to be processed exclusively for the most essential lawful purposes of you wish
to block your personal data.
Right to data portability
If you wish us to provide your personal data to another company, we will deliver your personal data in a
required form to the subject designated by you unless there are certain lawful of other significant obstructions
preventing us to do so.
The right to file a complaint and automated individual decision-making
If you find or if you suppose that your personal data are processed in contrast with the protection of your
private and personal life or in contrast with legal regulations, contact us and request explanation or recovery
of the inappropriate situation. You can also file a complaint directly against automated decision-making and
profiling.
The right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection
You can, at any time, file a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data to the respective
supervisory authority being the Office for Personal Data Protection with registered office at Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27.

All the information and statements on the rights that you decide to claim are provided free of charge.
How fast will the company respond to your request?
We will provide you with any statements and information about the actions taken as soon as possible;
however, no later than one month after your request. If necessary, and with regard to the complexity and the
number of requests, we can prolong this period to two months. We will inform you about such prolongation
and provide the reasons thereof.
- HOW CAN YOU WITHDRAW YOUR CONSENT WITH PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING?
Consent to personal data processing is based on a voluntary principle. It means that you can withdraw your
consent at any time. You do not want to receive offers of our products and services and those of our business
partners anymore? We are sorry to hear that but we fully respect your decision.
What should a consent withdrawal include?
■ Who submits the withdrawal. Please, state your name and surname, the address of your residence and your
birth day so that we can identify you.
■To whom the withdrawal is addressed. You can address your consent withdrawal to all branches or, if you
want to receive offers from certain branches, state only those which you do not want to contact you anymore.
■ The information that you do not wish your personal data to be processed anymore. If you only want to
receive selected offers, please state which offers so that we can meet your request.
■ Your signature.
How can I send you a consent withdrawal?
■ Withdrawal of your consent to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes can only be sent
in writing, so that we can take proper records of your consent withdrawal. Please do not forget to sign your with drawal.
■By sending a written declaration to the company’s registered office or mailing address.
